Viola Bleu – FOUR HOURS OF TERROR! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Raced through this novella and regularly felt terrified, yet the moments of hilarity through the author’s clever writing, meant I could handle the bits which should probably come with a warning. I love a gruesome read and could see this as a film the moment I read it. I do hope someone who makes film or TV spots it because these characters need to be given airtime!
A real page-turner, and to think it was initially written in one day is oh phenomenal. Looking forward to reading more by Andrew Chapman

Laura Regan – gory horror fun ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I read this fun little novella so quickly. It’s pacy and gory and the story is so much fun. I’ll definitely remember the characters from this one and there’s some absolutely five star kills 😀
The Mask Collector himself is up there with Michael Myers for me. Highly recommend for a one sitting read.

This fast-paced thriller storms from start to finish, with equal parts gore and humour. I found myself switching from laughing to flinching then back again, and no matter what, I couldn’t stop turning the pages. A very entertaining read with absolutely no boring bits.

Synopsis is aseemingly simple bank robbery goes horribly wrong when the robbers discover that they have a serial killer in their midst.

Everything about this book appealed to me so to be lucky enough to get the chance to read an advanced copy, I jumped at the chance! And I was not disappointed.

I felt that all the characters were really well developed, and I loved the relationship between Caine and Grey. There were moments when I was rooting for group of criminals but also a morbid fascination as to what the Mask Collector was up to and what he was going to do next. The gore was superb, and there was a lot of it! The story itself was a fast paced and thrilling ride, safe to say it didn’t take me long to devour this. I genuinely did not see that ending coming, it was absolutely fantastic. Please bring DCI Conrad back at some point.

The chemistry the gang have really had me laughing at times. Really believable characters. DCI Conrad is brilliant.

This book is witty and clever, with a cheeky little plot twist at the end.

Thoroughly enjoyed this novella. I was expecting the horror but not the humour! Dark, dry and believable, the interaction between the characters had me laughing out loud. Kept me guessing too. I never had a clue what was coming next. I literally couldn’t put it down. Cracking read.

Chapman does it again with a story that unfolds like a great film. I flipped every page, anxious to find out what was happening next. The twists kept the story moving and the next time I’m in a bank I’ll look be looking over my shoulder for the Mask Collector.
